The French film Aya of Yop City, directed by Marguerite Abouet and Clément Oubrerie, will  have its avant-premiere at the 40th Angoulême Comics Festival, in France. 

Aya of Yop City is based on the graphic novel series Aya, by Marguerite Abouet and Clément Oubrerie. The story follows sensible Aya and her adventures with her carefree family and friends. Set in 1970s Ivory Coast.
